Stuck Barbell

I got a snug piercing ages and ages ago but now I'm so sick of it; it's uncomfortable to sleep on and REALLY hurts if someone catches it. It's not infected or anything, I just want it out. Now.

I've tried rubber gloves and pliers but nothing is making it budge. It's a standard 12mm curved barbell. (This is my 12th piercing so I'm used to the normal stiff screw from the original bar)

I really want to get it out immediately, please please help!!!
