    So I have a pink ID card (driving license), my friend showed me hers the other day & it is blue - just curious to know what form of identification that is?

    Not quite. The green one is the provisional. Pink is for standard licences.

    As for what the ID is it's difficult to say without seeing it. The only blue ID I have in my wallet is an NUS card. A quick Google search throws up the citizencard ID, which appears to be blue:
