Hi Guys,I was just wondering what the normal age for a person to step into trading is at a big institution. I know this differs in other markets, as I know commodity traders tend to be a bit older.

    Don't think it matters.

Most entry level traders are hired out of uni, then undergo 6months to a year or 2 of training as a traders assistant then they get their PnL.

Physical commods traders can either be hired in from a paper (I.e. financial trading) background or they can be hired out of uni or they can be sourced from the operational side of the physical shop.

Basically, there's no real answer to this.
