I'm set on taking computer science in uni and so far my a level choices are:
maths, further maths, computing and physics.
I need to take another one since I'm taking further maths and I really want to take psychology as my 'fun' subject since the university I want to go to only requires maths/further maths/computing/physics - basically what I'm taking. But everyone's been saying that psychology is a soft subject and probably a blacklisted one so I should take something like biology or chemistry, but I know that I won't enjoy that at all and I can't drop it in year 13 either, so I'm kind of stuck. Please help

OMG NO WAY IS IT A SOFT SUBJECT! It's regarded as quite a hard witten essay based subject that can be hard to get a good grade - which won't be hard if your prepared to work hard which you are by the other A-Levels... honestly I love Psychology and was really glad I picked it... just be prepared to write some essay's 😉

Psychology definitely is not considered a soft subject! I'm currently taking it and it's really enjoyable, and it's quite hard at times. Obviously it's not as academic as maths, english, sciences, etc., but that doesn't mean it's soft - it's one of the ones that universities are more than happy for you to take.

I'd definitely suggest you take it, it'd be a nice break from your other subjects and is a really good one!
