I don't have a clue, we are doing about tides at the moment but there is nothing that I can find anywhere about how tides and tidal ranges can affect coastal morphology (shape).
I get that a smaller tidal range means energy is concentrated across a narrow zone, so there is more erosion (as the energy is more focused). And that with a larger tidal range, energy is less concentrated so there is much less erosion, but I don't know how tides and tidal ranges affect morphology of the coast.
Can someone please help me?Thanks
Could this happen to you?
