Hey guys .. just something I'm interested in hearing opinions about .. I mean no offence by me disagreeing with them. So I come from quite an average background - I did go to independent school however but that was with a bursary that covered a lot of fees - the rest my mum and dad did a day and night job for. Out of interested im also not straight..

Anyway - so for some experience I want to do I have to fill in an equality form - and I can't stand it !! Why does it matter what race I am, what kind of school I went to, my religion?? My orientation?? I thought it was joking!!!

They have nothing to do with the job!

Things should be entirely based on merit and nothing else.

    What do you think?
Sending out positive vibes - if you don't agree say it nicely <3

Its anonymous data. Its to ensure they stay within the law and dont discriminate.

If you dont wish to fill it in then dont and tell them I dont think its compulsory.

How does that work? Surely if you've got something that says "you can only have x amount of [insert race here] people", then you're discriminating against the people of that race by not giving them a job purely because they're not of another race?
