Hi,

Currently Im in the Year 13, and I am thinking about taking a gap year for 2017. Could you guys give me some help on what to do, preferably I want to do some work experience of some sort for about 8 months. If you have any links or anything where I can I apply for a gap year placement, please post them

You really have to do your research with this and work it out. Have you looked online?

Worth a look - a year in industry looks really great on your CV, you'll earn money which will help you fund your university experience, and it will get you some real world engineering experience.
