Well, 5 As (though one in General Studies) so I'm pretty happy.

    Unit 2 - 90/90
    Unit 3 - 90/90

    English Literature (297/300)
Unit 1 - 90/90 (TAKE THAT Cold Mountain - worst book I've ever read)
    Unit 2 - 90/90
    Unit 3 - 117/120

    French (261/300)
    Unit 1 - 72/90 (speaking)
    Unit 2 - 108/120
    Unit 3 - 81/90

    Theatre Studies (255/300)
    Unit 1 - 119/120
    Unit 2 - 86/90
    Unit 3 - 50/90 (remark!)

    General Studies (275/300)
    Unit 1 - 100/100

    Unit 3 - 75/100

I'm in exactly the same position. I've never got less than an A in an English essay in class, or a mock exam, and then I got a C overall (with an E grade in one paper!). No one at my school did well in English though.

If your AS grade has been cashed in, decline it as soon as you get back to college. If it hasn't been cashed in, or you've declined it, it doesn't have to go on the UCAS application form, and the universities won't see your grades at all.
Yeh.. my school declines them all anyway.. It's just such a knock back.. A b wouldn't have been quite so bad, especially if I'd only been a couple of marks off an A. But, I just never considered getting that low in english.

    Well, here are mine!

Predicted: As in French and History, Bs in Chemistry and Biology.

    Results:
FRENCH 299/300- A! I'm so happy, my parents were proud of me

HISTORY 247/300- A! (A reasonably low A, but not bad considering I'd already done 3 hours of chemistry that morning).

CHEMISTRY 251/300- A! Flabbergasted at this, as I'd got Ds and Us in my mocks!

BIOLOGY 184/300- C. Not good at all, considering I'd worked hard all year on this and I'm going to drop chemistry. Oh well, RESITS!

Hopes to study History at a good University!

Module 1- Assessing and developing arguments- 118/180- C
    Module 2- Credibility of Evidence- 109/120- A

I missed an A in French by 3 marks, when my teachers had told me I was a dead cert for an A all year. I've never got less than 85% in a French test before, and I'm normally terrible at German, but somehow they came out to similar marks. I'll never understand exam results. I'm determined to push it up to AABB with my resits though.

I did an AS in General Studies a year early.

    And i got a bloody *********g B (225/300)
    I was predicted a stupid A.

In the first unit i got an A (102/120)
In the second exam unit, i got a C!!! i dont know how that happened (60/90)
And in the coursework i got a B when my teacher said that i had got an A (63/90)

    Sucks
GCSEs next week will probably be worse.

GCSEs: 10 A*s and top 5 in French

Crazy_emz I got top 5 in UK for French GCSE last year as well!
I got 299/300 for my AS-level- but that wasn't in the top 5 or even top 10, so there must be lots of people that got 300/300- or maybe they don't send out letters at A-level?

I think they might wait til A2 results......not that I'll be getting one :P

Congrats, that's a great score, do you want to study languages at uni?

I'm really happy with my results, especially as I've been ill this year and it was so hard to work sometimes.

Yes, I think I will continue with History, French and Chemistry- and planning on doing English AS and A2 in one year  as in year 11 I thought I wanted to do Medicine so I didn't pick it last year, and chose Biology instead- BIG mistake.

If your school's course for History seems exciting and not really dull, and you're good at it, then I reckon you should go for it! What degree do you want to do?
