Poor with a long life. True happiness is not found in money, but in the things you cannot buy: love, family, etc.

True happiness comes from within; leading a short life with lots of money is absurd. It takes away the one thing we must cherish: time.

Sorry to hear that.
What happened to him?.
He had a connective tissue disorder (undiscovered one till after he died) and was a heavy smoker, so basically his aorta was weak and under an extreme amount of pressure and one day it ruptured and because of his smoking they couldn't repair the damage. The awful thing is that if he wasn't a smoker, they could have potentially treated his condition so i can be one of those people who can honestly tell people smoking kills.

Depends on the definition of 'poor' in this situation. Going off that you mean wealth, 80 easily. But if poor is also in the sense of not having any family or anything or anyone else, I would choose rich of course.

30 rich. I can do loads of things by the time I'm 30 And after that all the fun things kinda go away and its more about stress and kids and growing old with diseases or aches and pains...

Good point.

Poor would be somewhere below the poverty threshold forever.

30 and rich, I don't like seeing people struggling as their body just can't keep up at their old age (though I know it's not always the case). I'd much rather not go through the same struggle.

30. I want to die like a true man: zoned out, on a yacht, surrounded by crack and whores.

That's not too bad since I first interpreted it as being homeless or something.
