Ib Remarks - When Is The Deadline For Sending Them Off?

Hey Felllow Ib'ers
Jus To Break Down I Got 31 Points (was Predicted 39 :-(

Was The Only Person At School Not To Get Below A 4 And Actually Get The Diploma. I'm Happy That Iv Got It But Feel Cheated.

Iv Sent Off For Eng - Tok - Ex Essay Remark And They Havnt Come Back Yet.

Iv Been Thinking Tht I Wanna Send All Of Them Back Jus In Case Any Of Them Change - What Do U Think Ppl Shud I ?
Would I Be Able To ?

Would Appreciate Any Info
The deadline is September 15, I believe.

Well, if you feel cheated and want a higher score, by all means. However, remember that if your score doesn't go up, you have to pay $85 for every subject that didn't change. So in the worse case senario, if none of your subjects go up, you'd have to pay $595.

Does your score matter for university, or is it just for your personal satisfaction? If it's just a personal thing, I'd say don't send them for remarking because you'd be wasting too much money.

Thanks for the reply
i think its more personal satisfaction but the school have said that they will pay for the remarks as i am at a public / comprehensive school so i know its a bit cheeky but no one else is interested in having any remarks and i feel like i worked really hard and i was predicted 39 so i just want the chance to see if i could still achieve that amount. thats if i go up 1 point in each subject wich is a long shot but id like to try.

In that case why not do it? Dont expect much though, maybe 1 point more 2 is pushing it. They dont make mistakes very often (especially not in science subjects like chem, bio, phys, math where the marks are clearly stated for all examiners). You might be l´more ucky with languages and history etc.

Edit: show off coolness_rookie

Did you get it all in 1 session?
