Hi everyone,
Let's discuss this: do you sometimes get some very extra help from a member of opposite sex even though she/he is well older than you?
Throughout my life, I always have some women helping me out. Back in high school, a woman in charge of finance took out a huge amount of budget to support a project I was doing outside school and she always looked after me for everything at school even though it was not her job. Now at uni, a woman gave me a great priority in accommodation allocation even though I am not supposed to be in the list at all.
Those great ladies are all a lot older than me and some of them could be my mother's age. And it is very obvious that I receive this kind of support much more from women than men.
Do you have something like this happened before? I just thought it's very interesting to discuss.

On a serious note,some people like their jobs and take pride in helping whoever they can.

It's probably a combination to how you look and the fact that those are just very nice women.
I mean, the adults that I can think of whom I'd say are incredibly nice and helped me out so much even though they didn't have to are mostly women, bar one. Maybe women just have a stronger tendency to mother people therefore they're more helpful generally speaking?
