India has always been a third world country. American companies exploit indians for cheap labour. There's no denying that. If india is such a superpower, why do so many people try to leave? Why are there are so many poor people in india? 1 in 3 indians live below the poverty line. Why is there such a backwards caste system in india? 85% of indians defecate in the open.
Why is there no nobel prize winner living in india? All the highest qualified indians leave the country for a better life in the first world countries. How many are flocking to India? Why is that?
Its doing slightly better than Pakistan but still has a long way to go before it can catch up with the west.

No change in India since the end of the British RAJ, except less toilets and less education and more corruption and more poverty and more crime and........

In the old "first world, second world, third world" descriptors, second world referred to the communist bloc. India would never have fitted in that category.
