    Hi.
If someone got poor grades at AS-LEVEL and expected to do a course with high grades such as AAB/ABB/BBB but actually got around CCC-DDD how would they go about it?
If they done well in their January exams and got AAA/AAB/ABB could they apply to competitive courses or is there a big chance they may be full up?
You would get your results on the 16th March and so could you decline offers from other universities and try to get a get a place on a better course.

Since my English is crap I will create an example.
Tom gets CDD at AS, applys to do X course which requires CDD at A-Level.
Tom does his January exams to find in March he got AAA
Tom declines his offers for X course and applys for Y course.
Y course is PHARMACY and it is now the 16th MARCH.
Does Tom have a chance of getting into said course?

I would say yes, if you got AAA then go for it, ask your teachers for help first.
This was similar to my situtaion I got ABBB and did retakes to get AAA and went through ucas EXTRA and got an offer for pharmacy no problem.
    go for it!

chiba, you got ABBB that is very good.
did you find out you got AAA in january and then used EXTRA to get into Aston?
Were there any other pharmacy schools with vacancies around the time you applyed?
somewhere like aston, manchester, bath, lsop would be very good.
i dont know what my predicted grades are but they are probaly ACC
    CC - Bio, chem
