    2017 Mathematic Applicants Thread

Hello all . Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. I have set up this thread as I could find none others like it on TSR. Now I know there are individual ones for universities but see this as the proper superset of all those threads. This thread can act like a congregation for all people applying for Mathematics courses in the 2017 cycle. I have set this thread up with the intention for people to meet similarly minded individuals wishing to study the best degree on Planet Earth - they may do it better in another galaxy!

Joke. Yes, I will be taking STEP in the next exam season, this is so that I can have a relaxing gap year. Assuming I do well...

Why have you decided to take a gap year?
Mainly due to A-level reforms in two of my subjects, my school didn't see any point in entering us for AS exams and instead gave us specimen mock papers.
