It was so pointless and boring. I had to sit through half a hour of Christian songs...

I totally despise that stuff as a Freemason.

This was the only 1 song we did that I would consider non Christian:

How could I forget. Back in Year 1 we had to be in the hall 1 whole day with standard breaks as the school recorded the singing on to a CD...

I remember the weird projector at the front of the hall and there was always a kid at the front changing the laminated lyrics at the front.

In year 5 we started having singing assemblies and in EVERY assembly we had to sing two songs all the time...journeys don't stop believing and Iyaz replay....i bloody hate replay.

I remember a time when I told the teacher god isn't real and she had a fit and called me an awful child. Ahhh roman catholic education.

Well religous brainwashing has to start early doesn't it? Otherwise people might actually be able to think for themselves.I can still remember a lot of the hymms and that just shows how effective the indoctrination is.

    Not surprised.

Our schools system blew up when some kid blasted it far too high so they replaced it all with a computer + speaker setup and stopped kiddies operating it the last year I was there.
