So there is a question where I'm asked to draw the boundary surfaces for 3d orbital so, I've drawn all 5 of them. Then it says to write the sign of the angular part of the wave function to each orbital. What does this mean?

Thank you!!
Indicate where the wavefunction is positive and where it is negative.
Indicate where the wavefunction is positive and where it is negative.
Ooh I still don't seem to understand sorry I know the graphical representation of the wave function which has a positive and negative amplitude, but how do I relate this to orbitals?

In the picture, different colours mean different signs.
