It depends on the exam board. If they mark online (like Edexcel do), it can be back within hours, I was told. Non-online marking will obviously take a lot longer.

Good luck with it!

It will usually take around 20 days (or less), although it is not unheard of to take up to 40 days.

There is no way to tell exactly how long they will take in individual cases.

Hope this helps!

for my friend it was really quick came back in about 8-9 days

if you got it in early there might be a chance it would be soon. But be prepared to be waiting about a month.

It's a priority re-mark which means it would not take a month...the normal re-marks take a month...i sent off for an AQA priority re-mark on thursday, straight after results and was told it could take anywhere between 3-10 days!(not sure if that meant working days or not tho!)

I was told that it would take around a week.

...and I hope so because I am bloody waiting for one!

the figure quoted is usually working days, and with royal mail it could mean upto a month easily. They might not receive the request to remark on the day you pay - since you probably send off the form and money for that by post too...

I do know people who say they've had them back within about 10 days or so.

(I've known some people have non-priority ones which took up to 2 months!)

Priority Remark deadline is the 24th Aug, and Priority Remarks are for those whose uni places depend on it meaning they have to be done by the 31st August. So you will defo have it back by then.
Well im waiting for three...long story but my place at my insurance and firm also depend on it. I was told 4 working days so from results day -about a week. That's with edexcel though x

im in a similar position - i needed AAA to get into UCL for History but i missed it by one mark in English Lit. on the AQA website it says that they aim to get it done in 20 days but the examinations officer at our college said that i could take anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks so i guess its just a waiting game really. also, everything was done online. i filled out a form and gave the money needed and then he just filled out an application from what looked like it was some program from the exam boards themselves. apparently all the papers were electronically scanned this year due to problems with the old fashion paper technique in previous years which means that as soon as your examinations offer sends of the request for the priority remark the only think we have to actually wait for is for them to actually remark it. thats just my theory anyway. good luck people

Unfortunately, it won't necessarily come back by Aug 31st. But if your uni place depends on it, tell the uni you're having a remark. They'll normally wait for you, although they don't have to.
