Were these AS results or A level?

If you've only just got the results it shouldnt be cashed in yet

Ok firstly it shouldnt have been cashed in yet - you should have the opportunity to ask for it not to be.

If it has been cashed in (and assuming that you cant contact the board to get them to uncash it) you can still retake, and the mark will count towards your A level, but your AS level would remain the same.

When i got results (a couple of years ago now) we got given a form with them by the school to mark if we wanted to resit, cash in, etc and they dealt with it. Perhaps try speaking to your school's exams officer?
