    Hi
I just wanted to replace my old LBD with a new one and wondered the price range I should be looking at? Should be black dress be upscale or would that turn off men or scare them off? Also the issue of someone spilling some thing at a party and all that!

I think you overestimate the amount of thought such men may be giving to the provenance of said dress.

(Edit: I mean provenance of course. Providence would just be silly. Perhaps.)

Am man, can confirm I barely even notice the colour of a dress.
I think it could be in the mind after all. Confidence in oneself some times makes a difference!

Like what others are saying here, most [straight] men don't really notice what you're wearing unless they're seeing that it makes your breasts or buttocks look nice. But they definitely won't be "assessing" if you're wearing designer labels.

You have to, however, find one that would suit you perfectly and for a lot of different occasions.

Men don't care about the price tag of your dress as long as you look good honestly
