Okay I've just located the mark scheme. Before I look at it, I will try and use my own principles in answering these kinds of questions.
The question says use both of these: the data in the extracts; your economic knowledge
and the command is to assess the view that inequality is 'good for us all'.
Apparently, assess is to "describe, evaluate and judge." (Source:

It's worth 25 marks.
It seems natural that you just explain about things that support the view and to what extent they do and whether you agree or disagree with the assertions made, by using and comparing evidence (the data) and your own knowledge.
Typically doing each of the above things in a single paragraph will give you 4-5 marks, this means you need at least 5-6 paragraphs.
So I would start by underlining or otherwise highlighting the statements in the passages that don't support or do support the view.
Then construct your thoughts
using them. Don't paraphrase,
use your own knowledge, your skills, the evidence and data, to assess how they link to the view. And once you've had a go, then look at the mark scheme.
