ATM, Im working in a call centre as a sales advisor.

Unfortunately, Ive been there for about 6-7 weeks, I started off brightly but have faded away. My Team leader had had meetings on improvement, had one with them today where my progress is going to be checked, I kinda feel I want to leave before Im booted.

The job is temporary and through an agency. Im intending to go in tomorrow to work and resign, but Im wanting a written reference, just so I can get a job easier next time. Im wanting a written reference, will they provide me one do you think or would it be better off to get them to add themselves as a reference?

And what can they say in a reference, I think it will be good. They've always commented on my good friendly personality and my good attendance.

Anyone had a written reference before, what does it consist of and should they give me one if I ask?

    Thanks
