‘Notwithstanding much endeavour, no conclusiveanswer has yet been given to the question of when the courts will lift theveil. Indeed, the plea is often made, both by judges' and jurists, which thelegislature should lay down definite rules.’S Ottolenghi, ‘From Peeping Behind the Corporate Veil, to Ignoring it Completely’ (1990) 53(3) Modern Law Review 338-353Undertake a critical analysis of whether the approach taken by the courts in terms of when the corporate veil is lifted isto be welcomed or, as suggested in the above quotation, specific rules shouldbe laid down. How would you go about structuring and answering this question?

I'd read the question a few times.
    Highlight key words and issues.
Use the usual structure for critical essays taught or given on my course.
    Write it.

We aren't here to do any of your homework, and certainly not a competition!
