    Hi everybody,
I wanted to request from people who passed mrcp or are preparing for it. please let me know if MRCP PART 1 AND MRCP PART 2 scores are important in getting training or other jobs in the UK. Please let me know as it is very important for me.
If yes what would be considered good scores for getting shortlisted by hospitals.
    Thank you very much

I don't think they look at scores AFAIK. The only thing that may get you extra points is passing all parts first time (not actually sure if medics give credit for this, you do with the FRCA in anaeesthetics).

No, they don't look at scores. Or care if you pass first time. But there are points available for having part 2 and paces for registrar applications.

Don't you need full MRCP for SpR applications? Or is this just something you need before taking up the post?

Correct! You need MRCP to finish CMT but not to apply.
