# Differentiating this and simplifying? watch

1. I've been asked to differentiate y=x4(sinx3-cosx2).
I've got to an answer of
dy/dx = x4(3x2cosx3+2xsinx^2) + 4x3(sinx3-cosx2)
Should I simplify this further, or would it be acceptable to leave it like this?
Thanks

If the question doesn't ask you to leave it in its simplest form then there's no need to simplify, but if there's a further part that requires you to use the result then simplifying might help.

Okay thanks, I'll leave it like that since it doesn't ask for anything else.
