    So, I'm a year 10 pupil in the UK and I'm predicted an A so of course I want to get an A. I have to describe a sporting event including stuff like lexical sets, adverbial phrases etc. Does anyone have any criteria for an A description? Examples? Or any pointers for it. This is it so far, Is it worth keeping or scrapping? Thank you

    "Squeaking of shoes echoed through the vast hall where one team’s victory would shine, and another’s loss would plunge into questioning of why they didn’t do better.
    Colour coded cones slammed into each other as support from students mouths bellowed out like a war cry. The school’s pride hung over the audience like a cloud, ready for the rain of fury to rain down upon the opposing team.
    “Fight! Fight! Win! Win!” the cluster of students cried out.
    On the combatant’s side, their stricken posture spoke a million words of weakness and shock. This wasn’t a norm for them, the chance to face off against an international team. The impact of the intense support weighed down on them as they struggled to let out their own pathetic holler. Standing their ground, each and every member in the hall locked eyes with any vulnerable member in sight.
    Suddenly, their pupils diverted as the hall doors flung open. A grand entrance at last…".
