    I have the edexcel revision guide and workbook and have done some of the workbook. What else can I do ? I can't do past papers because there aren't any for the new spec. What can I do when I complete the workbook as I won't have any questions left to do?

    There are 3 papers, 2 of which are officially available.

    There are now 5 sets of practice papers ( 2 sets that are publicly available ) plus a set of specimen papers. I am sure your teacher will give you access to them at an appropriate time if you ask. The other examiners have also produced practice papers that cover the same maths. Although there are some new topics you can still do lots of useful practice with papers from recent years of the previous specification.

    They are available to teachers through a number of routes but not yet on the general Edexcel/Pearson web site.

    therefore 4(x-8)=2x+13

    solve ............

    4x - 32 = 2x + 13 (-2x)

    2x - 32 = 13 (+32)

    2x = 45 (/2)

    x. = 22.5

    Is this right?

    Yup it is 😀 (like the clear working)

    Easy to verify your result in an exam situation. if you substitute it in to find the two angles, then angles in a triangle should add up to.........
