The one that comes to mind first is free will.

That finding the right partner will suddenly make your life miraculously happy.
The greatest illusion in terms of attitude or view to the mankind is that people have a great responsibility and rationality to deal with their fellow human beings or environment carefully and with respect. In fact people are living in a social compromise to prevent damages and punishments, as long as they don't see a chance to take an advantage for their own.
The self and free will.

The self and free will.

Would say that free will exists indeed, under certain circumstances. But it is very rarely. Before people get a free will, they are manipulated, under a gun, bullied, forced to obey, being under group pressure, etc. before.

All kinds of optical illusions are out of the truth. The truth in terms of an optical illusion is just the truth of our perception, but our perception is flawed, thus the truth too.
