I'm in Year 12 and have want to do a gap year to go travelling after Sixth form. However, I also wish to go to Uni after that and hopefully take a Study Year abroad (probably in the USA). Is it possible to do both?

    Thanks very much

As long as you can afford it!
Also depends on your subject - whilst gap years are great for art and humanity applications, sciences prefer students who don't take a gap year.
What are you hoping to study at uni?

I'm interested in Accounting and Finance mainly. Heard it costs roughly £6000 to do a 3 month trip travelling but I'm unsure how much a years study costs
