Probably not as a nursing degree is vocational and a biomed degree is academic. Unis will be able to tell you this as well. Charlotte49

No, this would not be possible. The NMC requires at least 2300 hours of theoretical learning and 2300 hours of practice placement in order for you to be registered. The first year of nursing really is essential as you will have lots of mandatory training (moving and handling, fire safety, infection control etc.) which must be done before you are allowed into a clinical area. You would not be able to carry on any credits in order to miss out on some of the theoretical learning as it is all essential in order to meet the NMC requirements of topics you must cover.

You may be able to apply for graduate entry nursing rather than the full undergraduate course, but would need to look at the entry requirements for universities you might be interested in as these vary greatly.

For any type of nursing degree you would also need to ensure you meet the other entry requirements such as GCSE English and Maths. You would also be expected to have relevant work experience and/or volunteering.

On any course that is inclusive of placements it's pretty much impossible to transfer in beyond first year.
