Hey Hailz,

I just got my confirmation through for McNair, which I wanted! =] But I'm a bit confused about the letters and numbers... some people say the letter is the block, others say it's the floor, then all the numbers... what does it all mean?! lol

Thanks in Advance!

A116  I think A is the block, first number the floor and second two the room number  I really wanted ensuite, bit worried about that but I'm sure I'll cope!

A111. Got my confirmation through yesterday morning
After a lot of searching I found out that the letter is the block, the first number is the floor number (starting from 0) and the last 2 numbers are your room number (highest I've seen is 21, could be higher).
Also, the rooms are arranged around the outside of 4 corridors making a sort of square, with facilities in the centre (that includes the kitchen but I've no idea what else.) Sounds like a good layout to me
Hope this is helpful to someone

Out of curiosity, from someone who always intended to be self catered ensuite, is the shared bathroom fine & what's the food like? haha

Hi Georgia, the food wasn't amazing but there was always an option and you usually found something you liked! Also we bought a few bits and pieces to put in the kitchen anyway so there was always a back up  Bathrooms...again not great but they were cleaned quite frequently and as there were 4 to a floor you weren't technically sharing with all 22 people! It's been four years since I was there now so it may have changed, but I would defiantly say go for self catered en suite!
