I applied last year and did not get the grades for university however was luckily taking a gap year anyway so did not go through clearing.

I am now wanting to apply again with a different course, do I start from scratch and pay the application fee?

Do I sign in with my account from last year?

Any advice would be really appreciated! xx

Hello I have moved this to the UCAS forum for you.

You will have to start your application from scratch and pay another application fee. I'm not sure about the signing in with last years account, hopefully someone else will reply who knows this. Or you could phone UCAS and ask them.

    Hey there!

I just went through same process as you. You will need to make a fresh application and then pay the fee like last year.

You can still log in track using your last year's details until you send your new application. It can help you in filling UCAS information (Grades and stuff).

You are also allowed to use your last year's personal statement.

Once you've sent your new UCAS then your new UCAS ID Number will be moved to your last year's ID Number.

Let me know if you've any more question

Ahhh that's good to know! Thank you! How will UCAS know it's me? I've had to redo all my personal info and everything, will they just match this up? I'm just worried about plagiarism using parts of my own personal statement. It's weird though, ever since August I've not been able to log into UCAS or Track. It says my email address isn't on their system when it blatantly is as I was that all through Year 13 for UCAS..

    You can't plagiarise yourself.
