I know they pay the grants and loans in three instalments. But I was wondering whether the installments are throughout the term-time, or throughout a whole year.

I'm asking because I'm guessing the installments of rent will be throughout the term-time, and so if the grants and loans aren't, they won't match up (if you know what i mean)

:ditto: The exact dates depend on your uni semester dates. You'll know the exact amounts in each one about 3 weeks before term starts. Ironically, i always get more in the 3rd payment (of my loan) when theres only a few weeks of term left.

Thanks for the info.
I hope I dont get much more in my 3rd payment... I'm gonna need all the money I can get for when I first get there.

For my accommodation I will be paying:

30.10.07 = £1380.75
16.01.08 = £1380.75
24.04.08 = £539.15

I have no idea when my student loan and maintenance grants are paid in though. Hopefully at least 1 week before the dates above.

I guess I should email my tutors and see if they can give me any info on a timetable etc.

I think Monday 24 September is a bank holiday isn't it?

Doh! I just made a note of all those dates, and then realised that they haven't even updated it from 06/07!

I must say how very typical of Brunel. :rolleyes:

Thanks anyway!
