    Good morning everyone
I hope that someone will help me to answer these questions about Preparation of cyclohexene from cyclohexanol :
    1) One problem frequently encountered with the dehydration of alcohols is rearrangment to form a more stable carbonium ion . Why isnt this a problem in the synthesis of cyclohexene ?
    2) Why couldnt concentrated hydrochloric acid be used in this experiment instead of phosphoric acid or sulfuric acid ?
    3) What is the likely problem if a student started the final distillation with a clear crude product , but ended up with a cloudy product ? how could this problem have been avoided ?

    Thanks
