I'm going to be taking an SAT test in the UK at the start of December 2016. I have checked on the College Board website about the timings of the test day, they've said that "All test centers open at 7:45 a.m. and doors close at 8 a.m" and "Testing Starts Between 8:30 and 9 a.m.".

I was just wondering if someone with actual experience of taking an SAT test in the UK can confirm this, since I live quite far from the nearest test center and I want to sort out the transportation as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance.

It says what it says, and this is standard across all testing centers.

The time between doors closing @ 8 and the actual exam starting at 830 is for test takers to get to their allocated room + desk, as well as set up. Instructions are also read during that time.
