I've heard Queens Uni Belfast has a pretty low living cost at £7800 for 40 weeks.

    Any unis lower than this?

My uni is pretty low =)

£4760 for the highest accommodation with ensuite, mini fridge, tv in the room, ect
£2880 for the lowest accommodation with shared bathroom, ect
£4360 for catered accommodation with shared bathroom.

So lets say you go for £4760, add £1200 for food (£30 a week) and lets add another thousand for "other" (Travel, clothes, books, ect)... Total cost for 40 weeks: £6,060 with the top level accommodation.
If you went for the bottom level accommodation: £5,080
If you went for catered, (I took the food budget down to £500 as there is still gonna be stuff you want to buy yourself but obviously all three meals are provided): £5,860
