It means the company is cheapskate and does not have/want to spend the money on offices - or your salary!

Beware the small print and your terms and conditions.

    Tread very carefully.

Companies do occasionally interview in public places like cafés, but I would be careful to ensure the job is genuine and the company is above board. Maybe try to visit them at their registered address/offices to see for yourself - do some research on the internet, or using the company check website to make sure.

    I kind of agree.
Something similar happened at my place. A woman came into the mcdonalds i work at a couple of months back saying she had come for an interview- but it wasnt an interview with us at mcdonalds, it was for some cleaning company. The interview was at like 7:30 am as well. The girl was as confused as us. I have no idea if the interviewer actually turned up. Someone else had come in a few days before for the same thing apparently (on my day off).
