Bus Pass Photos
Are you allowed to smile or do they have to be like passport photos? I've never had one done before so I dunno lol.

your location says manchester; so if you're at manchester university - you use your student ID card as your photo ID
I'm not sure about college
Loads of friends are smiling in their bus pass/oyster card photos here (London) and have never had a problem. I can't see what difference it would make to be honest, it's not exactly an official form of ID.
