Hey guys ! I am currently in As level with the subjects Maths ,economics ,business studies and accountings. I had 4 As , 2 Bs and 2 Cs in my gcse level which in my place are kind of worst since i was expecting 7 As atleast. After that i switched my subs from sciences to social sciences. Basically i wanted to ask whether how bad these grades are considered for the RG unis given that i had an A in English language but a C in maths

Those aren't bad grades at all! The only thing that might cause problems is the C in maths if you want to do a course at university in anyway linked to science. Call the unis! It's also easy to resit GCSE maths at sixth form, you just revise at home and then turn up to the exam (unless your school offers extra classes).

The thing is that i want to major in economics or business administration maybe secondly as per my career adviser i should just focus on my a levels right now plus i know that even if i appear now i wont be able to get a good grade . Also i wanted to ask that I secured these As mostly in subjects like languages and religious study so will they be counted ??

If you do very well in your AS, unis will overlook your gcse's

If you want to do eco at uni, get an A in maths AS cos economics degree is extremely mathematical. Also many top unis want at least an A in maths

As the OP is taking AS Maths there would be absolutely no point re-sitting GCSE Maths. He just needs to get the best possible grade he can in AS Maths..
