I graduated in physical education this summer. I averaged a 2:2 which is enough to get onto a general primary course with physical education specialism, however i missed a reassessment early in second year and as a result didn't receive honours. At the time stupidly i didnt realise how important honours would be. Is there anyway i could perhaps get my honours or another route i could take into teaching? I have a reasonable amount of classroom and coaching experience.
    Thanks in advance

The best thing to do would be to contact course providers to which you are interested in applying and enquiring about whether their entry requirement allows for people with ordinary degrees to be admitted. You may find that there are SCITTs and School Direct providers who don't place a great deal of value on academic history. If you haven't been able to find a course provider who has indicated that they would welcome an application from you then it might be worth exploring whether it's possible to turn your ordinary degree into an honours degree. I'm not sure if this is possible after you have left university. I only know that some universities allow students to pick up the additional credits needed at the end of their course so that they graduate with honours.
