So, I'm roughly in my 6-7 week at uni. I don't enjoy the course much and i only really attend the lectures because i am time tabled to be there and find my self day dreaming in the really boring ones. The modules i thoght it would beexiting and engage turned out to be as boring as the rest. I often spend my time in lecutures looking at the time. Did i make a mistake going to uni and doing a course i don't enjoy (i liked the course during a level)

    Wrong forum mate!

But - maybe you are doing the wrong course. A level may not be that similar to uni. Is it that you're bored and the material is beneath you? Perhaps a more intense course at another uni would suit you better, maybe a higher-ranking uni.

If that's not your issue, what ARE you interested in? Maybe you could look into switching courses. Start doing that sooner not later - get a one-on-one session at your uni Careers Service. They will be confidential. Later in the process you could politely see whether a faculty member from your switch-to subject would be willing to have a chat with you prior to switching, to ensure you really are interested in what they have to offer you. See if you can find a way to scope out a friendly lecturer - but remember they are extremely busy people.

Lastly, don't worry about what your damn parents and friends think. This is your degree!
