    2 + 3 + 4 = 9.

    $510 / 9 = 56.6666666667

    56.6666666667 x 2 = 113 50p coins

    56.6666666667 x 3 = 170 25p Coins

    56.6666666667 x 4 = 227 20p Coins

Is there a method Without a calculator?
When I tried to divide 510 by 9 it just took too long so I thought I was doing it wrong

I'd be very surprised if they asked you to do this without a calculator...

it says it " contains dollars in the form of pence", so it just means the total value of the bag is $510
