I had a very ill time during my AS year, and unfortunately only just passed my AS levels. I've applied for subjects on a range from ABB to AAB but I'm really worried !! :'(
(My results for this year are predicted on getting AAA but it scares me so much --)

    (Edit: I got BCDE :' )

They're used for proving that there is a chance of getting your predicted grades. If you got DDD then it's unrealistic for you getting AAA.

AS results will only really matter if you're applying for Oxbridge, or if your course is still non linear (meaning that AS results count towards the final grade).

Why would they matter more for Oxbridge? They matter for every uni, if you AS's are vastly different to your A2 predictions then you have to explain this in your reference/extenuating circumstances form. if you don't then i doubt your predictions will be taken seriously
