The likelihood of us leaving the EU permeant is slim to nil, elites own this world if you like it or not without elites having power you don't have money to live. Remain only lost by 4%, a 5% swing will win and the likelihood of financial services leaving London is likely and that'll swing 11% of brexit voters.

So what exactly are you saying? You want to remain part of a political union that is undemocratic, on the notion that all the financial services will leave London?
Nissan have already committed to the UK, other firms will also.
Also being in the EU single market isn't perfect conditions to trade services anyway!!! They have to deal with other barriers such as regulation and tax, so isn't plain sailing now.
London was a huge financial capital before we joined the EU anyway, based on our history etc.
Single market has impacts on all markets: Labour (floods labour in primary and secondary sectors driving down wages, meaning the poorest people suffer whilst business' gain from lower wage), services I already talked about, goods (many firms outsource to smaller EU countries with lower wage levels).
I think it is nonsense that people will change opinion, but even if they do it doesn't matter there will not be another vote. We will leave the single market which will be a god send, we could finally use policy to protect British industry and British jobs, something the EU doesn't even pretend to care about.

ckf is just being sarcastic (or given up pushing for Brexit because, as he said, the "elite" can stop it from happening)

    1) Democracy is an illusion
    2) We leave the single market = food prices will skyrocket
    3) We ain't a British Empire with ton of resources anymore
    4) Read the yougov poll.

    1) Yes in the EU
    2) Not necessarily, they rely on us, subsidise British farmers with money saved.
    3) No, but we still have strong global relations.
    4) Polls have been so useful in predicting what will happen...

    1) " For the people, but lets keep the elites happy so they give money to British workers " ~ democracy
    2) Majority of our meats etc come from ABROAD
    3) Only because we are a powerful voice in EU and a world power hanging on to it as we are wealthier DUE to being in EU.
    4) 11% swing will grantee a remain win, this is coming FROM brexiters.

Definitely agree with you. How can a vote be democratic if it was based entirely on lies?

Some of you Kipper types are as flaky as the remoaners. You all need to take a breath, accept that nothing much is happening before mid-2017 and wait to see what shape Brexit will take.

I believe that May will take us out of the EU and while i think she'll push for everything i think the end result will be the Canada option (free trade, no ecj, no free movement, but having to maintain equivalence and probably paying a fee for the extras we want).

Keep calm people and hold your course.

They literally let us have a vote on whether to leave and we going to leave...

Yet all these dunderheads want us to believe the EU is some reincarnation of Stalin's Soviet Union. Yeah I'm sure Stalin would have let Poland leave the soviet union if the public voted to leave lol

The establishment has a lot of power and economic control is true but they idea that they control everything and there is nothing we can do about it is false. In fact most of their power comes from the mass media it uses to form opinions and our complicity. The power of the mass media is diminishing every day as less and less people trust it while alternative media sources are rising. This is why they are trying to control and censor the internet. Without our compliance they actually have little power to control us.

Your in dangerous waters. This could upset the Brexit nazis.
I've got on the wrong side of them one or twice on here and they're not nice people to upset.

Sadly any criticism of Brexit is rarely tolerated...whatever happened to the British custom of freedom of speech?

No one is trying to silence your speech. Stop playing the victim at the mere fact of disagreement.
