So I got a call from McDonalds this morning saying that I've got an interview with a trial on the floor of the restaurant. They said I should wear black trousers and black shoes, but didn't specify what top I should wear so should I go for a black top too or something else? I've never had a trial run or interview before and don't really know what to say even for the easiest of questions nor how to act whilst trialling on the floor. Any tips and advice?

I would play it safe and just wear a classic suit, so a white shirt and a tie would be good.

I suggest practising the questions that are likely to come up. As it sounds like you'll be working at the front, you may be asked about your experience with customers, retail, working under pressure, time management, etc... Just come prepared and don't panic, they want to see how you'll perform at the real job so do what you're expected to do and do your best
