im 1 month into my first year at university. i chose geography for my undergraduate degree because i have always took an interest in the subject. now that im at uni, I'm very uninspired by my course and don't see myself with a bright future. my step-brother changed his degree from sports science to civil engineering. i have been researching other courses and have seen a few but i keep going back to midwifery. i love the sound of it and the more i read about the job and course the more i want to become a midwife. is it worth leaving uni and starting again next year? i will have more debt but is it worth being miserable for 4 years with geography. I'm really unsure what to do! help!

If you know you won't be wanting to do the course for the remainder then it's always worth the switch (unless you're 2 weeks away from a degree)

Quit uni, get some experience to see if midwifery is for you, and reapply next year if it is. If it works out the debt won't be an issue because you'll have a job for life. Take it as a lesson learned.
If you're just interested in geography you don't need to do a degree to learn about it.
