Specifically a Psychology Research Methods exam. We are taught about things such as deep brain stimulation, TMS and their advantages/disadvantages as well as their effectiveness. We're also taught about qualitative/quantitative methods, how MRI and fMRI works and so on.

I'm making question and answer flash cards at the moment but is there anything else I can do to effectively study for this MCQ?

I think yeah, just keep doing that and even on the day do a very quick run through of the whole thing, I did that for an MCQ exam and it definitely helped. Also, past papers helped me too - some questions were repeats or very similar to past ones.
