I got a B in media AS which is some goddamn shock as I only revised an hour.........
I'm gratefull that I got it, but the problem is I was 2 marks into a B, and I need an A in media A2 overall to get into the course I wanna do in uni,

do u think I should retake one of the modules and push my AS into a strong B or an A,
    OR
is it possible that even if u get a low B in AS or a C, if I work really hard can I get an overall grade of an A in media studies A2?

Please help I need to know what I am reataking!!!

If I were you, and you don't mind doing so, I'd retake a module.
I made the mistake of not doing when I got my AS results, and I ended up with my overall A-Level being knocked down to a B overall, despite good A2 grades.

You don't always need to retake. I got a D in my first unit and ended up with a B overall at AS. I could've gotten an an A at A2 without retaking anything if it wasn't for the fact that I was ill.

I heard u cnt re-do course work.....cause its 40 percent isn't it? 20 for the production and 20 for the actual written work.....nope I dont think so....I messed up on the paper of audiences and institutions ****!

OK, I don't think it matters what unit you resit as they are both worth the same percentage of the marks. If you find the 'Audience and Institutions' unit understandable, but just didn't perform too well on it, then it might be worth resitting that. However if you are not very confident on that unit, then it might be worth considering redoing the textual analysis unit (however if you got an A or a B on this then it is not worth resitting it).

Sorry if I've rambled on, but I hope this helps (if you understand what I'm going on about!)
