    Hi,
So I've always wanted to go to college and then go to uni but I'm really struggling to cope with all my work. I took English lit, history and psychology. I've also really struggled to make friends and I'm generally by myself at college. Is there any other options that college or are there ways that I could make my time there better because I've started dreading getting up and going

You are doing quite essay heavy subjects, from what I've heard it starts out tough as you haven't got the knowledge to get high grades in the first term, and you need to build up the knowledge and technique over time to get the good grades. Also are you using your free time effectively? I don't know if your teachers are giving you loads of homework, but if you find you have some free time perhaps look ahead or do past papers and try and improve your knowledge or technique. In terms of friends I can't really help you much, but my sister struggled at first but just by chatting in lessons she made friends. I don't find it easy to make friends like she does so I'm no use in that area.
