I had driving lessons with some old fart (he was recomended by a mate). Anyhow he charged 14 pounds per hour ( i live in the south east) he clearly hated his life and kept saying "ohh she looks like me ex wife". He even explained to me how it is possible live only on the TESCO value range of foodstuffs. Anywho, he was so crap i had to have about 30 lessons, but i did pass first time!

My driving lessons when I started at the end of January were £16, but then went up to £17 in March. I've now passed (first time) which proves independent (and cheap!) instructors are sometimes just as good!

The instructor I went with had been teaching people to drive got around 15 years, so I knew he was good
    Basically da same as me!

I'm wit an independent driving instructor too, cost me £19 per hr and his really gud! Cos I had anotha instructor b4 dat who ws sorta crap!

I've had 21 lessons so far, but im not a naturally good driver, if i'm honest i'm a menance 2 da road! But slowly i'm gettin der and i've booked my practical test.

Every1's different sum ppl only need a few lessons ( bout 15hrs altogether) 2 b able 2 drive well, cos der naturally gud @ it. If ur good at sports which demand hand and eye coordination (eg tennis) den ur probably be a gud driver, but den again, u cud be shite (not being rude) even if ur a gud sports person!

My tip wud be 2 buy a car wen u feel like u definatly want 2 drive so u can get xtra practice wit ur parents which helps sooo much, and allows u 2 not need so many costly drivin lessons. I wish i cud buy a car 2 practice in but my parents won't let me cos dey thnk me and my mates will take it 4 joy rides! Even tho i won't and cos of dat stupid reason im spendin more money on lessons!

Gud Luck wit drivin and remember 2 pay full attention cos it helps big time!
