Okay, so I was told by someone that I can't actually study the same text in both English Literature and Drama (by my Lit teacher, I think). We're doing tragedy in English, and Othello is part of our syllabus. We just found out what our group performance is in drama, and low and behold, it's Othello. Is that allowed? Because I was told it wasn't? Not to mention the fact that I couldn't handle doing THAT much of the subject, no matter how much it'll help me. #ShakespeareisliterallyKILLINGme . Should I talk to my drama teacher about it, because she's the one who chose the text and we can easily have it changed, as the school choses the play. And even if it is allowed, would it be wrong to ask to change anyways?
